At ICAV we recognise the amazing work of committed intercountry adoptees across many years to provide our community with support, often with little funding and from a largely voluntary workforce. ICAV has worked for 25 years across the global community and understands the power of collaboration. In the USA, we want to help increase visibility across the country as to who the adoptee led organisations are.
For this purpose, we are creating a virtual online fair hosted by ICAV. It is designed to showcase some of the USA based intercountry adoptee led organisations to help the community better understand who these organisations are, what they provide, and an opportunity for you to get to know each other.
In our 2 hour online forum (which will be recorded), USA based adoptee led organisations will have the opportunity to highlight and present their organisation in an 5 minute slot. This will be followed by a Q&A session from the audience.
If you are an adoptee, adoptive family, an adoption professional looking for adoptee led services, supports, and contacts, this is an event for you to see how active the community is, what is provided and by whom.
