Sunny is an American based South Korean adoptee. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with adoptees who desire well-researched articles on transracial and intercountry adoption. Sunny is currently working on an autoethnography that focuses on the transracial adoptee experience in the America. Her research on adoption is driven by the unfortunate racial tension in America.
Although Sunny focuses on the American transracial adoptee experience, much of her research can apply to all intercountry adoptees. She hopes her research will encourage critical thinking and open dialogue regarding the sometimes contentious topic of adoption. Sunny wants to use quality research to fuel discussions.
