AUSTRALIAN STATE REPRESENTATIVES

This role acts as the central point of contact for new intercountry adoptees coming into the network based on residential location. The ICAV Rep helps to connect adoptees to others in their State, ensure they are aware of ICAV Social Events and other state based intercountry adoption events; liaise with the State Government Departments (seeking intercountry adoptees wishing to be involved in prospective parent eduction seminars) and state based NGO post adoption organisations. Where possible the ICAV Rep also attends Federal Government quarterly meetings to represent the needs and interest of each state.
